WHAT IS SECRET COMPASS?

Secret Compass leads exploratory expeditions to many of the world's most remote regions. Our aim is to 'achieve the extraordinary in the world's wildest places'. We specialise in truly pioneering expeditions to the wildest and most untravelled parts of the world.

Run by experienced ex-Parachute Regiment Officers, we give adventurous and independent-minded people the opportunity to explore the world’s wild and untamed places with a team of daring individuals.

We deliver truly adventurous, audacious and ambitious expeditions. By combining the spirit of the earliest pioneers of exploration with the benefits of modern advancements in technology, we provide an opportunity like no other: World first, challenging, team expeditions - not tours - in austere environments. Our staff of highly trained, ex- army commanders and professional wilderness guides ensure the highest standards and the most exceptional experience in all environments.

Each Secret Compass expedition has an explicit purpose with defined aims that are exploratory in nature. This not only allows you to get under the skin of a place, but also promotes the undertaking of challenge and rewards the team with a sense of achievement. If you want to go to some of the most unexplored and raw areas of the planet and to live and breathe the terrain, its culture and its history, you have come to the right people. Secret Compass expeditions are unique, extreme, challenging and unforgettable experiences that will change the way you see the world around you forever.

You will become part of something innovative, original and new.  Our expeditions are usually only the remit of the most adventurous film crews, journalists and photographers, all of whom approach us regularly for our unique services in enabling their activities. We have worked with many of the industry leaders in promoting tourism and development in post conflict zones and emerging economies.

Bespoke: In addition to our annual trademark explorations, we also offer customized expedition-planning services to anyone who has a great idea but needs a bit of guidance to make it happen. Furthermore, we offer a range of services to film and TV producers for location recces and remote filming.  Secret Compass can guide you to any environment in the world with ease.
